Patient Enquiry

Thank you for your interest.

Have you or someone you know been diagnosed with cancer? Are you feeling like you need some back-up or someone to help you manage during or after your cancer treatment?

Why not use one of our FREE CanCare Navigators to help during this stressful time. A CanCare Navigator is a trained volunteer who “walks alongside” ato assist with the many new challenges faced following a cancer diagnosis.

CanCare Navigators are ideal support for

Elderly people – single or couples who need a little extra help to manage.
Single people who are not fortunate enough to have family or friends close by or may not want to burden family members.
Parents with young children who need extra support with family commitments
Young people who may not want to discuss their cancer diagnosis with their friends.
Anyone who is anxious or having trouble understanding health information.

How does it work

To help get life back on track, register your interest either over the phone or using the form on this page.

You can register anytime – after diagnosis, during or after treatment. We’ll arrange a meeting and then help you with support for as long as you need. Our Navigator will stay in touch and they can meet you face to face, wherever it is most convenient or talk over the phone or Skype (internet). All contact is at a time and place that works best for both of you.

Did you know there is growing evidence that a person who is well supported experience lower rates of anxiety, mood disorders, nausea, vomiting and pain, and know more about their disease and their treatment options.
