CanCare Navigators

Our CanCare Navigator’s volunteer to help patient’s get the right support at the time they need it most. After training and with ongoing support, they ‘walk alongside’ a person with cancer, assisting as much as possible with practical support and guidance, such as

  • regular contact and practical help
  • finding transport to or from treatment
  • arranging child care, elderly care, or pet care during treatment
  • organising social outings and connecting to support groups
  • just checking to make sure everything is OK
